• Submitter name and email (venue submission form, optional)
• Account display name and city
• Saved/visited venues and reviews
• Search queries within the app
• IP address (via analytics and CDN)
• Approximate, city-level geolocation

• Marketing emails — based on your consent
• Core app functionality — to fulfill our service to you (contract)
• Venue submissions — legitimate interest in vetting and curating listings
• Site analytics — legitimate interest in improving the product

Supabase (database & authentication), our email service provider, Flock Analytics, Google (fonts and storage CDN), Unsplash (image CDN), and Lovable / GPT-Engineer (site platform). We do not sell your personal data.

You have the right to access, correct, delete, and opt out of marketing at any time. Email privacy@culturedcompassapp.com to submit a request. We'll respond within 30 days.

• Waitlist emails: kept until you unsubscribe
• Account data: deleted within 30 days of account closure
• Venue submission contacts: retained 12 months
• Analytics: per Flock Analytics' retention policy

We use Flock Analytics, a cookieless and privacy-focused analytics tool, to measure site traffic. We do not use advertising cookies or pixels.

Cultured Compass is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We'll notify waitlist subscribers by email of any material changes to this policy.
